BLUFFTON, Indiana (WANE) – A new treatment center for recovery from Medicaid addiction opened in Bluffton on Monday.

The center, Practice of Landmark Recovery, addresses addictions to alcohol, marijuana, opioids, and more. The treatment center meets the needs of an addiction center for patients with Medicaid. It also has multiple employment options while offering a way to heal small towns like Bluffton.

“What’s really sad is the opioid epidemic that has torn communities like this apart,” said CEO Matthew Boyle. “They know that drug overdoses, especially fentanyl, disproportionately affect smaller cities like this one. So when we saw the opportunity to open a treatment center, we took it because this is a community in need. “
