Capurso Appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Carlat Dependancy Therapy Report

Noah Capurso, MD, MHS, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, has been named Editor-in-Chief of the Carlat Addiction Treatment Report.

The monthly newsletter, which is distributed nationally, is published by Carlat Publishing.

As editor-in-chief, Capurso will manage the content of the newsletter, write and advertise articles, interview experts and raise the profile of the publication. Carlat has a high penetration rate among psychiatrists nationwide; According to Capurso, one in five psychiatrists currently subscribes to at least one Carlat publication.

“Most of the readers are psychiatrists and one of my goals is to expand the attraction to other related health professions,” said Capurso. “Our readership among psychologists, nurses and social workers is starting to grow and it would be great if this trend continues.”

Capurso is also launching a podcast related to the Carlat Addiction Treatment Report.

He is a 2015 graduate of the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program. In 2016, he completed an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine.
