La Crosse County Salvation Army mental health services supported by the Mayo Clinic Health System chimes

As of 2018, Mayo’s Match Day has raised approximately $ 145,000 for the Salvation Army’s mental and mental health services.

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WKBT) More than $ 27,000 will serve mental health services for the La Crosse County Salvation Army.

Mayo Clinic Health System staff presented a check for a $ 15,000 match during the annual bell-ringing campaign.

The money enables the Salvation Army to pay for contractually agreed psychiatric services for our residents at the shelter.

“In recent years we have seen increasing attention to mental health needs at the community and national levels. And it’s something that is really important in helping our community thrive, ”said clinical psychologist Dr. Chelsea Ale from Mayo Clinic Health System.
