More questions after autopsy concludes inmate died of drug overdose | Messages

LOCK HAVEN, Pennsylvania — In mid-November, rumors began to circulate when a suicide involving a high-profile inmate was reported in Lock Haven.

Jamie Lynn Jackson, 37, of Lock Haven, has been jailed for manslaughter after her 9-year-old nephew died at their Lock Haven home. Friday night’s release, which detailed Jackson’s untimely death, listed a multiple drug overdose as the cause of death.

Jackson was pronounced dead on November 15, the day of her 37th birthday.

According to Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse and Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna, Jackson died from a combination of fluoxetine and bupropion and ruled that the death was an accident.

The Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating the incident. More information will be released as it becomes available.
