Texas AG Investigates Walmart’s Opioid Sales Practices

In a civil investigative demand, the attorney general’s office ordered Walmart to hand over a trove of documents related to the company’s distribution of opioids in its pharmacies, with the aim of deciphering whether Walmart improperly filled prescriptions and whether the company failed to report suspicious orders.
